T20 World Cup Betting Tips and Predictions

Our daily T20 World Cup betting tips and predictions will appear here closer to the tournament.

T20 World Cup Tournament Info

The T20 World Cup will be split between the USA and the West Indies this year, acting as part of the game’s expansion into the States alongside Major League Cricket in recent years.

There will be 55 matches in total across nine venues, six of which are in the Caribbean (Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago) and three in the US (Florida, New York and Texas).

The first game of the tournament will see hosts United States take on Canada in Texas on June 1 before defending champions England start their tournament against Scotland on June 4 in Barbados.

T20 World Cup Format

This year’s T20 World Cup will be very different to the previous editions, with a lot more teams entering the competition which means more matches.

In total, 20 teams have qualified which is up from the 16 of the 2022 tournament. The sides have been split into four groups, and from there the top two teams in each group will advance to the Super 8 stage.

In the Super 8s, the qualifying teams will be split into two groups of four and again the top two sides from each group will qualify for the knockouts - essentially two semi-finals which then lead onto the final.

Pakistan and India have been drawn in the same initial group stage, while England and Australia are also together in the groups which sets the scene for some big early matches.
