Man City FA Cup & Premier League Double Odds: Now 1/2

Manchester City’s quest to clinch even more silverware under Pep Guardiola took another step forward this past weekend.

The Sky Blues faced off with Nottingham Forest in a Premier League clash and came away with a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Josko Gvardiol and Erling Haaland.

The result leaves Manchester City 2nd in the top flight and firmly in the title race heading into the final few weeks of 2023/24.

Manchester City FA Cup & Premier League Double Odds

Manchester City made history in 2022/23, becoming only the second side in the history of the Premier League to complete the ‘proper’ treble after Manchester United in 1998/99.

Man City won the league in dominant fashion, beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final and Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

The Sky Blues then kicked off the current campaign looking to become the first English side to complete back-to-back trebles. Those hopes were dashed earlier this month, however, when the Manchester outfit were knocked out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage by Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

Their 2023/24 season is not a complete right-off, though, as Manchester City are once again set to face Manchester United in the FA Cup final and are still favourites to win the Premier League. It is not as impressive as a treble, but a league and FA Cup double will no doubt please Pep Guardiola and co.

Manchester City Premier League Title Odds

Though their hopes of making treble history are over, Manchester City can set a different record by winning the Premier League this year.

No side has won more than three Premier League titles in a row, with Manchester United doing so twice and the Citizens winning their third on the spin last term. As a result, if City finish top of the table this year, they will be the first side to lift four Premier League trophies in a row.

At present, the Manchester outfit are sat 2nd in the table with games versus Wolves, Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham United still to play. Should City win all of their remaining fixtures, they will overtake current leaders Arsenal as Pep Guardiola’s side still have a game in hand on the Gunners.

3rd-place Liverpool can also still win the league this season, but they sit five points off top spot with three games to play after securing just one win in their last five Premier League outings, meaning it is very much a two-horse race between Arsenal and City.

Manchester City FA Cup Odds

Manchester City are set to face off with bitter rivals Manchester United at Wembley on May 25 in a repeat of the 2022/23 FA Cup final.

Man City have dominated en route to yet another domestic cup final, beating Huddersfield Town 5-0, Tottenham 1-0, Luton Town 6-2, Newcastle United 2-0 and Chelsea 1-0 in the semi-finals earlier this month.

They have also won their last three outings versus Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, including a 2-1 win at Wembley last June.
